The Music Never Ends — An Emmy Nomination to Celebrate

I am truly overjoyed to share some wonderful news: Mambo Legends: The Music Never Ends — the documentary that tells our story and honors the legacy of this music — has been nominated for a New York Emmy Award in the Cultural Documentary category.

This nomination is not only a great privilege, but also a deeply moving recognition of the rhythms, traditions, and friendships that have shaped my life and the lives of so many in our community. For me, it’s a reminder of the countless rehearsals, late-night gigs, and beautiful moments we’ve lived through together.

Every member of the band feels an immense joy in this moment. We are proud that our work, and the work of the legends who came before us, continues to be recognized and celebrated.
